All proposals for extramural funding must be in final form five (5) business days prior to the sponsor deadline.
The five days are required for final budget review, to ensure compliance with agency guidelines and University policies, and to obtain ALL required signatures BEFORE proposals are submitted. During this period, OSP staff will NOT be able to make revisions. If corrections are required, PIs will be contacted, otherwise the proposals will be submitted directly by OSP on or before the date due.
Electronic Proposals
With the recent proliferation of electronic systems, many proposals are now completed and submitted online. To ensure that electronic proposals are submitted accurately and received on time, OSP must complete electronic submissions at least 1 or 2 days prior to the official agency deadline.
